Look behind the slider to see if the inner lining is caught.

Gently rub a dry bar of soap or a beeswax candle along the teeth to help the slider glide. xaxbabyzip fix

Gently squeeze the sides of the slider together. This tightens the grip on the teeth. Look behind the slider to see if the inner lining is caught

Align the teeth and slide the new pull onto the tracks. This tightens the grip on the teeth

Use pliers to snip off the small metal crimp at the very top of the zipper track. Slide off the old slider: Pull it all the way off the top.

Always close zippers before throwing items in the laundry to prevent the teeth from snagging on other clothes.

When the zipper closes but immediately pops open behind the slider, the slider itself has likely stretched out. Use a pair of small needle-nose pliers.
