Naturism is the literal embodiment of this slogan. On a nude beach or at a naturist resort, the "beach body" is whatever body happens to be on the beach. There is no suckling in the stomach, no adjusting of flattering swimwear, and no fear of a wardrobe malfunction. By removing the clothes, you remove the performance. When you spend time in a naturist setting, you see a "gallery" of real human bodies. You see that the "imperfections" you’ve been taught to hide are actually universal. You see grandmothers, athletes, people with disabilities, and every skin tone and texture imaginable. This "visual diet" of real bodies acts as an antidote to the airbrushed images on our screens.
