Many early versions only support 2nd Gen Intel (Sandy Bridge) CPUs. A BIOS update is required to use 3rd Gen Intel (Ivy Bridge) processors.

💡 If you are updating specifically to use a newer CPU, keep your old CPU installed during the flash process. The PC won't boot with the new CPU until the update is successful. Many early versions only support 2nd Gen Intel
