It establishes the absolute oneness of God and acknowledges Muhammad as His final messenger.
This is the most fundamental declaration in Islam, required for any person entering the faith.

අල්ලාහ් හැර වෙනත් දෙවියෙකු නොමැති බවත්, ඔහු ඒකීය බවත්, ඔහුට හවුල්කරුවන් නොමැති බවත් මම සාක්ෂි දරමි. තවද මුහම්මද් (සල්) තුමාණන් ඔහුගේ ගැත්තා සහ දූතයාණන් බව මම සාක්ෂි දරමි..
අල්ලාහ් හැර වෙනත් දෙවියෙකු නැත, මුහම්මද් (සල්) තුමාණන් අල්ලාහ්ගේ දූතයාණන් වේ.
